This was one of the most difficult requests that the Association SAFE (France) helped us to close. So we have a story about a fire truck that saves people in the east and north of Ukraine.

Background. There was a request for a compact all-terrain fire truck to extinguish fires in difficult areas – in forest belts, dense buildings, forests, places with difficult access to water, etc.

Implementation. The special vehicle, its components and additional equipment were found in France, purchased for the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya by partners from the Association SAFE, and logistics were provided to Uzhhorod. On the spot, the vehicle was checked by Ukrainian rescuers and car mechanics, and then the specialists who will be working with it got acquainted with the new equipment. After making sure that everything was working correctly, the fire truck was sent to serve in places where fires occur frequently, causing huge damage to civilians, the military, infrastructure, and the ecosystem. 

After dozens of ambulances, evacuation vehicles, an excavator, a couple of snowmobiles, and three field hospitals, we have the first fire truck that saves Ukrainians from the consequences of the russian federation’s terrorist attacks.
