Nataliya Kabatsiy, Director of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattia, and Lesya Levko, Project Coordinator of CAMZ, graduated with a degree in Public Health with honours. This two-year responsible step is part of the fruitful cooperation of CAMZ with Uzhhorod National University, in particular, the teaching staff of the Department of Health Sciences and the management of the Faculty of Health and Physical Education. It is significant that the members of our charitable organisation became the first graduates of the Master's degree in Public Health, who were educated by a domestic university.

Public health is a very popular and relevant specialty of Western universities, it has recently been licensed in Ukrainian universities. Today, the need to train such specialists is due to both the introduction of medical reform and the latest stage in the development of the national public health system based on the principle of "health care in all state policies" and the need to train new personnel in the field of intersectoral management.

We believe that a responsible attitude to one's work means, among other things, constantly improving one's skills and acquiring new knowledge. Expanding the range of qualifications allows us to apply advanced methods of health promotion through the organised efforts of civil society, the involvement of world experience, in particular, our foreign partners, in the implementation of measures aimed at preserving and improving the social well-being of the population. We also hope that the university relations of the "teacher-master" level will be transformed into fruitful cooperation of the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattia with university scientists to improve the quality of social, medical, and educational services to citizens in difficult life circumstances.
