Over 40 humanitarian shipments for healthcare facilities were sent by the Charitable Organization «Charity Fund «Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya» during January 2026. These shipments included bandages, sterile wipes, seasonal medicines and vitamins, assistive devices, hygiene and disinfectant products, which were received by hospitals in the Kherson, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Zakarpattia, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions. A large shipment of heaters, hospital furniture, and special equipment was donated to medical facilities in the Mykolaiv region. An ultrasound diagnostic device was donated to one of the city hospitals in Zakarpattia.

With the support of the organization «terre des hommes Deutschland e.V.» and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya continues to implement the medical component of the project «Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support». During January, shipments of charitable aid were donated to hospitals in the Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Zakarpattia regions. The aid provided included an open resuscitation system with an infrared heater, an air-oxygen mixer and cuffs for a neonatal monitor, suture material, enteral feeding tubes, catheters, a breathing circuit with accompanying equipment, several dozen items of medicine, and other consumables.

As part of the project «Bridging Gaps for Resilience: Strengthening Social Cohesion, Peace, and Protection for Children and Youth in IDP and Host Communities in Ukraine», which CAMZ is implementing with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, a training and practical seminar «Features of Interaction between Specialists and Parents of Children with Special Educational Needs: First Experience of Cooperation» was held for the staff of several medical institutions in Zakarpattia.
