The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is ongoing. As part of the medical component of the project, it was possible to fulfill a request from the Oleksandriya Hospital of the Oleksandriya Village Council in the Rivne district of the Rivne region.

The hospital provides inpatient and outpatient medical care to about 10,000 local residents, most of whom are women and children. The local community has also taken in a large number of internally displaced persons, who now receive medical services at the Oleksandriya Hospital.

In response to a request from the medical facility, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya provided charitable assistance in the form of 25 items of medicines and medical consumables.

The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
