Now we can talk about it openly, because the operation to transport a super-powerful 1350 kW generator weighing 24 tons from Switzerland to Uzhhorod, and then from Uzhhorod to Dnipropetrovsk region, has been successfully completed.

Thanks to the efforts of partners of the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" from the Association "ProUkraїna" (Switzerland) and the direct participation of its founder Michael Roffler, another Ukrainian community received a powerful generator to support critical and social infrastructure. This is one of the urban territorial communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Community residents find themselves in difficult circumstances due to constant shelling by russian occupation forces, which are destroying critical infrastructure, residential buildings, and social facilities. The energy supply situation in the city is particularly acute, as systematic attacks on energy facilities have left the population without access to basic necessities such as electricity, heat, and communications for a long time. These circumstances, among other things, paralyze the work of public utilities, medical institutions, and warming centers, creating significant risks to the life and health of the civilian population. Communication problems make it extremely difficult, and in some cases impossible, to communicate with people and emergency services.
"To ensure the uninterrupted operation of the most important community facilities, such as hospitals, pumping stations, boiler rooms, and points of invincibility, we urgently need a powerful generator. This will allow us to maintain the stable functioning of critical infrastructure, provide medical care, supply residents with water and heat, and enable them to stay connected", says the request from the community executive committee.

Once again, with the support of our friends and partners from Switzerland – the Association "ProUkraїna", which found a powerful generator for Ukraine, and the Association "Parasolka", which financed internal logistics – we were able to help a community suffering from the effects of war. It is impossible not to note the high level of technical organization of logistics, for which the representatives of the carrier, Mr. Yevheniy and Mr. Ruslan, were responsible. We also thank the team of our humanitarian warehouse, who once again demonstrated their versatility and skill in the most extraordinary tasks. This lyrical digression is due to the complexity of the work carried out. We believe that it was not in vain and will make life easier for Ukrainians in times of constant anxiety and threats.

As a reminder, the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya recently donated a powerful generator from Swiss partners to meet the needs of the communal infrastructure of a frontline community in the Kherson region.
