As part of the medical component of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", a specialized cargo of medicines was donated to the Vysokopillya Primary Health Care Center in the Vysokopillya United Territorial Community in Kherson Oblast.
The leadership of the Vysokopillya Primary Health Care Center requested the Committee’s support with the necessary medicines. Due to the military aggression of the russian federation, as well as the occupation of settlements in the Kherson region, 15 medical facilities of the Vysokopillya Primary Health Care Center in 15 settlements were destroyed and damaged. Outpatient clinics and paramedic and obstetric stations have gradually resumed their work, but need support, in particular in basic medicines, as the hospital serves residents of 21 settlements with more than 6,000 inhabitants.
Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya donated a shipment of more than a hundred items of medicines to meet the needs of these medical institutions.
The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
