Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" is taking part in the Mental Health Forum "Human Resilience = System Resilience", which is currently taking place in Kyiv. On November 26, the forum was opened by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.

Today, the Committee’s project coordinators Tetyana Hoydash and Lesya Levko are presenting our organization at the Marketplace, a networking platform aimed at finding ideas, support and inspiration. This year’s Marketplace brought together governmental and non-governmental service providers from all over Ukraine. The members of the Committee brought to the event not only informational brochures about the activities of our charitable organization, in particular in the field of mental health and psychosocial support, but also the products of the residents of the Vilshany Orphanage and the Social Habilitation and Rehabilitation Center "Parasolka", which they create in the workshops of the institutions. The Committee’s stand brought together colleagues from Zakarpattia and other regions and became a place for constructive discussions, exchange of views and planning of further cooperation.

The All-Ukrainian Forum is the second in a series launched by the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the World Health Organization together with "How Are U?" to discuss progress and develop further ways to develop the mental health system in the country. Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya is a co-coordinator of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Technical Working Group in Zakarpattia Oblast, and implements a number of MHPSS projects that provide psychosocial support to IDPs, children and adolescents, families with children, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
