Over the past two weeks, volunteers from the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya have distributed more than 4,000 food packages and the same number of hygiene kits to internally displaced persons who, due to Russian military aggression, have taken refuge in Zakarpattya.

"We had an unpredictable need to support the IDPs, who have started asking volunteers to provide them with basic necessities. It was about food, hygiene products, clothing, bed linen and etc. Within the limits of our possibilities, which have dried up already, we have responded to these requests. Now, together with our international partners, we have decided to establish cooperation with institutions where internally displaced persons live compactly, sending all possible assistance there in accordance with the needs of citizens, "said Nataliay Kabatsiy, the director of MACZ.

It should be noted that the main activity of the organization in martial law remains unchanged: support for our defenders, delivery of humanitarian aid to the most affected regions of the country, assistance in providing relevant institutions with medicines and related equipment.

We are grateful to everyone who supports us in charity, everyone who makes it possible. We work together for the victory of Ukraine!
