WAR IN UKRAINE: the Medical Aid Committee is fully mobilised 

The Medical Aid Committee is fully mobilised in the face of the invasion.

We are participating with other NGOs and the authorities in the care of displaced people arriving in Western Ukraine. Our first actions consist of providing accommodation, cots and sleeping bags, and distributing food, especially for babies and young children.

We are also ready to distribute medicines and medical equipment according to the needs of our hospitals.

In France, our long-standing partners are supporting us and raising funds through two associations: Safe (http://safe.asso.fr/) and Fondemos (https://www.fondemos.com/). They will send us the funds collected and are also preparing to send humanitarian aid according to the needs, as we now have difficulty in sourcing certain products locally.

To cope with the arrival of displaced people who are fleeing the fighting and who have left with almost nothing, we have the following needs: 

• Mattresses, sheets, sleeping bags
• Baby food
• Cleaning products, disinfectants
• Heating equipment
• Essential medicines, medical and surgical equipment
